Chaos;Child is a horror-mystery video game set in the city of Shibuya, Japan in 2015. The city has been nearly destroyed by an earthquake six years prior and a mysterious force known as the "New Generation Madness" looms over it. Players take on the role of Takuru, an arrogant student newspaper club president who must track down and outsmart a serial killer responsible for bizarre deaths around him that are baffling police. He must also investigate strange occurrences caused by the New Generation Madness while exploring Shibuya's dark secrets.
