Yakuza 0 is an action-adventure video game set in 1988 Japan. It is a prequel to the Yakuza series and follows protagonists Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima as they navigate Tokyo and Osaka, respectively.

The game takes place at a time of great economic prosperity in Japan known as the “bubble economy” – when wealth was abundant, crime was rampant, and people lived life with unbridled decadence. The story focuses on how both characters get involved in a debt collection gone wrong that leads to murder which sets off an intense chain of events for them to unravel.

Players will experience thrilling combat scenarios where they can use various weapons such as bats, katanas, bare fists or even their own two feet! In addition to fighting enemies on foot, Kazuma can also drive cars around town for missions or just for fun. As Goro Majima you will explore his day-to-day life as the proprietor of a cabaret club while engaging in tasks like managing staff members and collecting profits from customers who frequent the establishment.

Yakuza 0 has vibrant visuals that truly capture its era; neon lights light up its cities filled with bustling crowds going about their lives while 80s music plays through speakers in clubs throughout town.
