In this expansion, players revisit Northrend from Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, where Arthas Menethil has fused with Nerâ€™zhul to become the powerful Lich King. The forces of both the Alliance and Horde venture into battle against his undead armies within Northrend's icy environment.
