Enter the world of TowerFall Ascension and experience the noble and brutal tradition of bow-and-arrow combat. TowerFall Ascension is an archery combat platformer for 1-4 players, with an arcade co-op mode and intense versus matches. The core mechanics are simple to learn but fast paced and fierce in battle. Players must master the game’s mechanics in order to be successful against their opponents or work together as a team against AI enemies if playing co-op.

TowerFall Ascension was initially released on PlayStation 4 and Windows, through Steam, in March 2014, with Mac and Linux versions available soon after. A Vita version was later released as well as an Xbox One port under its original title of Towerfall without any additional content from Acension or Dark World expansion packs included. In 2018 a Nintendo Switch version was also released which includes all content from both expansions plus some new exclusive features and updates.

The main attraction of TowerFall Ascension however is its local multiplayer feature that allows up to four players to battle it out either one on one or free for all style matches by utilizing various different power ups including arrows that can home in on targets or explode upon impact while avoiding obstacles such as pits filled with spikes designed to keep you at bay until your opponent makes a mistake allowing you time attack them instead! With multiple levels to choose from each offering unique challenges along with unlockable characters, weapons skins & more there's plenty here for fans old & new alike looking for a fun way pass time with friends & family members alike!
