Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity is a 3D RPG released by XSEED Games, and it has been gaining traction in the gaming community since its announcement. The game was first revealed at Comiket 86 in August of 2016, with an updated remastered version being announced for PlayStation 4 on December 28th of that year.

In June 2nd of 2016, Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity was confirmed to be localized for North America under the name "Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity". This marked the first time a Touhou Project game had ever been shown at E3! Players have found this exciting as they were able to experience the full potential of this unique world-building series.

The story follows protagonist Reimu Hakurei as she goes on adventures throughout Gensokyo in search of her missing friend Marisa Kirisame, who has vanished without a trace. Along the way she will encounter many enemies and obstacles that stand between her and Marisa's whereabouts. She must use all her wits and abilities to overcome them if she hopes to find out what happened to Marisa!

The gameplay features fast-paced action with hack n' slash combat mechanics combined with RPG elements such as character customization through equipment upgrades or unlocking new skillsets from various NPCs scattered across Gensokyo. Players can also look forward to visually stunning attacks called Spell Cards which are powerful enough to turn even otherwise unbeatable foes into dust!
