Fragments of Him is a narrative video game that explores grief and loss. It follows the story of Will, who tragically passes away in an accident, leaving behind his family and loved ones to cope with their grief. Through the lens of first-person point of view, players take on the role of Will’s spirit or intellect as they explore his memories and relive moments leading up to his death.

The game is set in various locations from Will’s life including his home, workplace and favorite café among others. With each location come new challenges for the player to tackle that reveal more about Will’s personality and relationships with those closest to him. As you progress through these stages it becomes apparent how interconnected the events are in order to understand what happened prior to Will's death while at the same time providing insight into how people process grief when someone close suddenly dies without warning.
