Through guided conversations with Davey as your narrator, you work to understand why Coda creates such bizarre and melancholic works.

The story begins with a suggestion from Davey that he has found something interesting in his friend's files - something he wants you to explore. As you play through each game created by Coda, it becomes clear that there are underlying meanings within them; themes of isolation or inner struggles which may have been inspired by their life experiences. During each playthrough, Davey provides commentary on the games while also offering interpretations and theories behind why they were made.
