The Awakened Fate Ultimatum is the long-awaited sequel to Nippon Ichi's popular PlayStation 3 role-playing game, The Guided Fate Paradox (Kamisama to Unmei Kakumei no Paradox). In this thrilling new installment, players take on the role of Shin Kamikaze, an ordinary high school student who finds himself at the center of a conflict between angels and devils. As Shin becomes an angelic being known as God and fights for the fate of humanity alongside his newfound companions in Heaven, he must make difficult decisions that will determine whether humans are saved or damned.

The game features a unique combination of traditional turn-based combat mechanics with dungeon crawling exploration elements.
