All about game Star Fox 64
Star Fox 64 is a 3D on-rails shooting game from Nintendo that was released for the Nintendo 64 in 1997. It is the sequel to the 16-bit Super NES title, Star Fox, and features the same core gameplay of navigating through levels while shooting down enemies.
The 8 megabyte cartridge contains 15 plus levels with easy, medium and difficult paths as well as forward-scrolling levels and full 3D realms. Players take control of four characters: Fox McCloud, Peppy Hare, Falco Lombardi and Slippy Toad. There are also 23 different characters in total with voice samples instead of animal noises like in the original game.
Star Fox 64 also introduced a hover tank level which can be used to navigate through certain parts of stages and even a submarine level where players have to take out enemy ships underwater. Additionally it was one of the first games to feature Rumble Pak support - both a bundle version with Rumble Pak included or standalone versions were available for purchase. In Europe it was released under the name Lylat Wars .
Not only does this classic shooter provide great single player action but there’s also an exciting multiplayer mode using split screen for up to four players at once! So if you’re looking for some old school fun then don’t miss out on Starfox 64!
