Spore is a video game created by Will Wright, which takes players on an epic journey from the origin and evolution of life to the deepest reaches of outer space. Players start off as simple microbes in the Tidepool phase, learning how to survive while they evolve their creature with tools and abilities. They then progress through Tribal, City, Civilization and Space phases where they learn how to form tribes, build cities and civilizations, explore other planets and galaxies. Throughout each phase players can choose between different paths of peace or war as they strive for global unification. Along the way creatures will meet others evolved by other players that are shared over SPORE's central servers. All progress is tracked in a Sporepedia which captures all creatures met on this intergalactic adventure.

Spore is a unique video game that allows you to create your own universe and evolve creatures from single cells all the way up to galactic gods. Developed by Maxis and released in 2008, Spore has been praised by players for its innovative gameplay mechanics that allow you to control the evolution of an entire species.

The game consists of five evolutionary stages: Cell, Creature, Tribe, Civilization, and Space. Each stage has different objectives as well as unique challenges which must be overcome before progressing further in the game. The Cell stage is where it all starts out; controlling a single-celled organism with simple movements such as swimming or eating other organisms in order to survive and grow larger until evolving into more complex forms.

In the Creature stage players are able to customize their creature’s appearance through various body parts while learning new abilities like running faster or jumping higher than before. They can also join together with other creatures and form tribes which will help them when they reach the Tribe stage. During this phase players have access to tools such as spears and clubs which can be used against rival tribes during battles over territory or resources while trying to build cities in order increase their tribe’s population size even further. As civilizations progress throughout the game they can develop technologies such as space travel enabling them explore distant worlds filled with alien lifeforms and resources needed for further advancement towards becoming a Galactic God at last!
