Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is a third-person shooter video game based on the Resident Evil franchise. It takes place in September 1998, when an outbreak of the deadly T-virus has occurred in Raccoon City. To cover up the incident, Umbrella orders an elite team to eliminate any survivors and destroy all evidence of the virus. The US Government also sends its own team to investigate what happened. Players take control of a member of Umbrella's Security Services and fight against competing forces such as Bio-Organic Weapons (BOWs) and zombies while trying to complete their mission objectives. The game allows players to play both single player campaign mode or online with up to four players in co-op mode. Characters can gain new abilities and skills unique to them as they increase their experience level during gameplay. This high quality title was developed collaboratively by Capcom Japan development studios and an experienced Western multiplayer specialist studio.

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is an action-packed spin-off of the long-running Resident Evil series. It is a third person shooter and features twelve playable characters, each with their own special role and abilities. While it may not have the same survival horror elements as the main games in the series, it still offers plenty of intense action to satisfy any fan of shooters.

The game takes place during the events of Resident Evil 2 and 3 and has you playing as either Umbrella Security Service or US Spec Ops teams fighting against each other within Raccoon City while trying to survive a zombie outbreak. You can choose up to four characters for online play, such as Vector who specializes in close combat dueto his agility, Bertha who focuses on destruction with her heavy weapons expertise, Four Eyes who uses precision marksmanship skills to take out enemies from afar, or Beltway whose engineering ability allows him to access locked doors and hack into computers. As you progress through each mission you will face off against several types of enemies including zombies, lickers (mutated humans), Hunters (a type of reptilian creature) and even William Birkin’s G-virus infected monsters!

In addition to single player mode there are several multiplayer modes available that allow up to eight players at once including Team Deathmatch where two teams fight for control over certain areas; Heroes Mode which pits one team consisting only of four heroes against another team composed entirelyof zombies; Survivors Mode requires both teams work together cooperatively in order complete various missions; Biohazard Mode is similar but includes more difficult objectives; lastly there's Assassination Mode where your goal is eliminate specific targets on enemy teams before they do likewise with yours.
