Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus is a 2013 platform video game developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 3. It is the fourth and final installment in the Future series, which was noted for its inclusion of exotic and unique locations, as well as over-the-top gadgets that have become staples of this beloved series.

The story follows Ratchet and Clank on their latest adventure to search for Vendra Prog, a dangerous criminal who has been searching for an ancient device known as The Netherblades. As they explore mysterious planets searching for clues, they must also battle new enemies along with old foes from previous games in order to save the universe from destruction.

Players will find that many of their favorite features from past entries are back again in Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus; including upgradable weapons such as Groovitron Glove (which forces nearby enemies to dance) or Mr Zurkon (a robotic minion who can provide assistance during battles). Players can also upgrade their armor with special pieces found throughout levels, giving them more protection against enemy attacks. Additionally, there are several mini-games scattered throughout each level which challenge players’ reaction time or accuracy while using weapons.
