Orcs Must Die! 2 is a sequel to the original game, where players take control of the War Mage and his new companion Sorceress. Orcs Must Die! 2 is the sequel to the popular action-strategy game of the same name. Players take on the role of a magical War Mage who must defend his kingdom from hordes of orcs and other monsters. This time around, players are given an expanded arsenal of weapons and defenses with which to do battle. The spellbook has been redesigned, giving players even more ways to create deadly traps for their enemies. With dozens of new upgrades available, players can customize their strategies however they like in order to defeat the orc mob.

The story picks up right where Orcs Must Die! left off, as our hero finds himself joined by a mysterious ex-War Mage known as the Sorceress. Together they must fight against an ever growing army of orcs and monsters determined to lay waste to their kingdom. During this epic struggle gamers will be able to upgrade their weapons and defenses using hard earned skulls from slain foes in order to further tailor their strategies for defending against wave after wave of attackers.

In addition, Orcs Must Die! 2 introduces two player co-op mode that allows friends or family members join in on all of the fun together at home or online over Xbox Live Arcade or Steamworks services .
