Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny is the second installment in the critically acclaimed Onimusha series of video games. Released in May 2002, this action-adventure game brings players an epic quest to save Japan from dark forces led by Yagyu Jubei Mitsuyoshi. The game features four playable sub-characters and retains the same elements as its predecessor such as multiple special weapons that can be upgraded by defeating enemies.

Players take on the role of Jubei and must make various choices throughout their journey which will determine which characters decide to help him in his mission. These characters were added by Capcom staff to add more depth and adventure to the game, offering a larger range of possibilities for players who want to explore different paths during their playthroughs.

The graphics have been improved since the first installment with more detailed environments and better character animations making it one of the best looking PlayStation 2 titles at that time.
