All about game NBA 2K2
NBA 2K2 is the third installment in the classic NBA 2K series of basketball video games and is considered to be one of the most popular releases. Developed by Visual Concepts and published by Sega Sports, it was first released on October 24, 2001 for the Sega Dreamcast before being ported to other consoles such as PlayStation 2, Nintendo GameCube and Xbox in 2002.
The game features a host of new street courts including Mosswood, Fonde Rec Center and Venice Beach - which were all received positively. It also includes some of old favorites from its predecessor NBA 2K1 such as The Cage – although this time round players have more control over their moves thanks to an improved AI system. Furthermore there’s an expanded list of teams with licensed players featured in each franchise giving it even more authentic feel when playing against opponents online or offline.
In addition NBA 2K2 was also the first multi-platform title within the series which allowed gamers across different platforms to play against each other on virtual court (as long as they had compatible systems). This made it much easier for fans to enjoy with friends who owned different gaming devices unlike previous titles where you would only experience laggy gameplay if your friend didn’t own an identical console.
Finally Allen Iverson graced cover art for this particular version making him part of a prestigious roster that included Shaquille O'Neal (who appeared on cover previously) further enhancing marketing appeal surrounding release date launch when compared to its predecessors . All things considered this iconic basketball simulation is worth checking out whether you are a fan of sports genre or not!
