Metal Slug 7 is a side-scrolling run and gun video game developed by SNK Playmore. Players join Marco, Tarma, Eri, Fiolina, Clark and Ralph as they take on Modern's Forces in seven new missions that span from Garbage Island to the Fortress of Ruins. The game features six playable characters and an array of new weapons for added replay value. It also includes colossal bosses, new Slugs to pilot and several gameplay modes for further exploration of the Metal Slug universe.

Metal Slug 7 is the latest installment in the classic Metal Slug series of scrolling shooter video games. Developed by SNK Playmore, it was released for the Nintendo DS in 2008 and again as part of a compilation on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2017.

The game picks up where its predecessor left off with The Peregrine Falcon Strike Force, Ikari Warriors and SPARROWS once again on a mission to find General Morden and prevent him from making an attempt at overthrowing the government. After defeating Morden, however, a strange army from the future appears to aid him. Now our heroes must face their greatest challenge yet; putting an end to Morden’s plans once and for all!

Players can expect more of what they have come to love about Metal Slug; intense side-scrolling action combined with lots of enemies and weapons. New additions include time travel elements that allow players to go back or forward in time as well as new characters such as Eri Kasamoto who joins forces with The Peregrine Falcons Strike Force during their mission against General Morden’s forces. Players can also expect updated graphics that give this title an extra boost compared to its predecessors.
