Mega Man Network Transmission is an exciting video game developed by Arika and published by Capcom and ShoPro Entertainment for the Nintendo GameCube console. Released in Japan on 6 March 2003, North America and PAL regions followed suit the following June. The game is part of the Mega Man Battle Network series which first began on the handheld Game Boy Advance (GBA).

Network Transmission follows Lan Hikari as he strives to save his hometown from a powerful virus known as Gospel. Armed with his trusty virtual pet Megaman, Lan must battle through a variety of challenge levels filled with enemies, obstacles and puzzles. Players can customize their characters with up to 16 different parts that affect attributes such as attack power, armor type and speed. There are also special chips that can be used to give extra abilities or boost stats further.

The gameplay itself combines elements from both classic side-scrolling platformers such as Mario Bros., along with real-time strategy titles like Starcraft II: Legacy of The Void . As you progress through levels you’ll need to make strategic decisions regarding when to use your special chips while also avoiding enemy attacks at all costs!
