All about game MediEvil: Resurrection
MediEvil: Resurrection is the third installment in the beloved MediEvil video-game series. This action-adventure game for the PlayStation Portable was released in 2005, and it serves as a reimagining of the first installment in the franchise. While many aspects of this new version were changed drastically from its predecessor, some elements remained true to form - most notably Dan's mission to collect chalices on his quest to enter The Hall of Heroes.
The biggest difference between this version and its original lies in its style; while MediEvil had been known for its horror-comedy feel, Resurrection has gone with a much more cartoonish approach, complete with an entirely orchestrated soundtrack that featured both familiar themes from before as well as several brand new ones written specifically for this release. Voice talent was added throughout the game too - Tom Baker provided narration duties while also voicing The Grim Reaper character - adding another layer for players to enjoy.
New levels were introduced into Resurrection along with changes made to existing levels from before; such alterations included redesigns and rearrangements of objects within those spaces among other things. Some old levels didn't make it over at all however but despite all these changes one thing stayed very consistent: there is only one ending available upon completion regardless if you collected every single Chalice or not (something which wasn't possible back when playing through MediEvil).
All things considered, fans have welcomed this updated take on an already beloved franchise with open arms due to how faithfully it kept certain aspects intact while also introducing enough fresh content that newcomers could still appreciate what makes this game so special even after almost two decades since its initial release.
