Luminous Arc 2 is a video game set in the Kingdom of Carnava, which has been at peace for 4 millennia due to its close cooperation with Witches of the Rev Magic Association and usage of magic. However, Fatima, the Shadow Frost Witch breaks away from this association and takes over Granend, the Forbidden Land. This causes chaos in Carnava. The young squire Roland is chosen by Queen Sophia to help bring an end to this discord as he has gained magnificent powers due to a chance encounter.
