Killzone Shadow Fall – Intercept is a four-player cooperative game set in the world of Killzone. Players take on the role of VSA Intelligence Squad Alpha and are tasked with relaying intercepted military transmissions back to their headquarters via captured Uplinks, while defending them from attacking Helghast forces.

Each player must choose one of four available Combat Roles: Assault, Marksman, Medic or Tactician. Each Role has its own unique abilities and play style which players must master if they want to succeed in the mission. For example, an Assault class character can use heavy weaponry such as rocket launchers and flamethrowers for taking out large numbers of enemies quickly; while a Marksman can provide cover fire with precision rifle shots; Medics can revive fallen teammates; and Tacticians can deploy defensive turrets to help protect Uplinks from attack.

The AI-controlled Helghast enemy will employ different tactics depending on their assigned Combat Role as well as try to capture Uplinks by any means necessary, so it’s up to you and your team mates to think strategically about how best to tackle each situation that arises during a match. The dynamic nature of Killzone Shadow Fall – Intercept ensures no two matches feel exactly alike, making every playthrough excitingly unpredictable!
