Borderlands 2 is the sequel to 2009's critically acclaimed shooter/looter game Borderlands. This time, players take control of one of four new vault hunters as they face off against a massive new world filled with creatures, psychos, and the evil mastermind Handsome Jack. The goal? Revenge and redemption across the undiscovered and unpredictable living planet.

The game features an expansive open-world environment that allows for exploration and discovery in addition to intense combat sequences. Players have access to an arsenal of weapons including traditional guns, swords, grenades, rocket launchers and more – all customizable with various attachments. It also includes a unique class system which allows players to choose from different skill trees that further customize their character's abilities on the battlefield.

In addition to single player mode there is also 4-player co-op where up to 4 friends can join together online or split screen for some intense cooperative action. Each player has their own individual loot drops so everyone gets something out of it! It also boasts a brand new art style featuring cel shaded visuals reminiscent of Japanese animation which helps lend this world its unique feel compared to other games in its genre. Overall Borderlands 2 offers gamers an incredibly deep experience packed full of content ranging from story missions involving Handsome Jack’s schemes against Pandora’s inhabitants through side quests involving anything from rescuing Claptraps or collecting ECHO logs scattered around Pandora’s wastelands while battling enemies both old (from previous Borderlands)and new (like Hyperion Loaders).
