James Bond 007: Agent Under Fire is the first James Bond game to appear on the PlayStation 2, GameCube, and Xbox. It combines three different gaming modes into one package—first-person-shooter, rail-shooter and driving game—to provide an experience like no other. Players will take control of the legendary British secret agent as he sets off to accomplish missions around the world while battling enemies with a variety of weapons and gadgets.

The main mission in this installment revolves around rescuing Zoe Nightshade from Nigel Bloch’s Identicon organization, which is part of Malprave Industries. The player must also retrieve DNA samples that are held by Identicon for use in nefarious activities. To complete these tasks, players can choose whether they want to go through each level with weapons blazing or opt for a more stealthy approach instead.

Bond has access to both real world weapons such as his trusty Walther handgun as well as fictional ones like the Photon cannon and 5-way grenade launcher. Gadgets include Q-Claw and Q-Decoder that allow him to infiltrate areas undetected or move heavy objects out of his way.
