Heroes Chronicles: Conquest of the Underworld is a classic turn-based strategy video game developed by 3DO and released in 2000. It is the second part of Heroes Chronicles, following Warlords of the Wasteland and preceding Masters of the Elements. The game focuses on tactical combat between two armies led by the player's hero character, Tarnum.

Players take control of Tarnum, a barbarian warrior who was slain in battle by Rion Gryphonheart years before. In this installment, Tarnum joins forces with his daughter Allison Gryphonheart to free her father’s soul from imprisonment in the Underworld. Along their journey they will face dangerous enemies such as monsters, dragons, demons and undead creatures while searching for powerful artifacts that can aid them in their quest.

The gameplay consists mostly of turn-based battles between two sides consisting of different kinds of units (archers, swordsmen etc.).
