All about game Earthworm Jim
Earthworm Jim is one of the most beloved video games of all time. It follows the story of Jim, an earthworm who stumbles upon a powerful ultra-high-tech-indestructible-super-space-cyber-suit. After being chased by Queen Slug for a Butt and her henchman Psy Crow, Jim finds himself imbued with powers far beyond those of other worms, allowing him to fight against evil in order to save Princess What’s Her Name from the clutches of the Queen.
The game features exciting levels that take place in outer space as well as on Earth. Players must help guide Jim through various obstacles while taking advantage of his newfound abilities such as shooting lasers and swinging around on his head like a whip. The controls are intuitive and straightforward making it easy for even novice gamers to pick up quickly. Alongside its engaging gameplay, Earthworm Jim also has an incredibly vibrant art style which really helps bring its characters and worlds to life; something that was quite rare at the time when it first released back in 1994.
The game spawned numerous sequels over the years but nothing ever came close to matching its original charm or success; no doubt helped by its memorable soundtrack composed by Tommy Tallarico Studios which perfectly captures each level's unique tone and atmosphere. Although some might argue that modern video games have surpassed what Earthworm Jim had achieved all those years ago there's no denying that this classic title still holds up today as one timeless platformer worthy of playing again and again (and again).
