The player takes control of a student at a special high school that doubles as a training facility for demon hunters. What makes this protagonist unique is their unusually large amount of ether in their body, allowing them to conceive Star Children who fight with demons by classmating with other students.

Players can strategically place fighters around enemies during battle. This allows players to either target weak points from afar or charge head on for more rewarding results.
