Chrono Trigger, a classic RPG video game developed by Square (now known as Square Enix) and released in 1995, has returned to the gaming scene loaded with upgrades. Players will embark on a grand adventure across time and space to save the planet from destruction.

In Chrono Trigger, players take control of Crono, a young man living in 1000 A.D., who accidentally travels back 400 years into the past after attending a Millennial Fair. Along his journey he meets several companions – Marle, Lucca, Robo and Frog – all of whom join him on an epic quest through multiple eras spanning both thousands of years ago and hundreds of years into the future. The group’s goal is to stop Lavos, an alien life-form intent on destroying their world. To do this they must travel throughout time searching for clues that will help them defeat Lavos before it can reach its ultimate goal of wiping out all life on Earth.

The game features various different gameplay elements including turn-based combat; puzzle solving; exploration; recruiting allies; learning new skills & spells; acquiring weapons & armor and managing your party’s inventory along your journey through time. Additionally there are nine endings available depending upon how you complete certain events throughout your adventure which adds further replayability value to Chrono Trigger's already expansive content offerings!
