The latest installment in the Castlevania franchise, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, is an action-adventure game set both in medieval and modern worlds. Players take control of Gabriel Belmont - now known as Dracula - and fight through an open world environment while still possessing all his powers and weapons from the previous game.

The Blood Whip, a weapon similar to Combat Cross from the original Lords of Shadow, is Dracula’s main weapon. Replacing magic system are Void Sword that can replenish Dracula’s health when used correctly and Chaos Claws that can be used to break through enemy defenses for powerful attacks. The story mode in this sequel is stated to be far longer than its predecessor with a movable camera feature not available in first Lords of Shadow game.

MercurySteam has done it again with their last contribution to the franchise; providing gamers another opportunity to explore different routes within an open world while playing as one of the most iconic characters ever created – Dracula!
