Battle Realms: Winter of the Wolf is a video game set seven years prior to the events in Battle Realms. Players take on the role of Grayback, the new chieftain of the Wolf Clan who must unite his scattered people and fight for their freedom from tyranny. The Wolves have been oppressed by their Lotus slave masters for three decades, forced to work in shale mines. At their disposal are slaves wielding massive sledgehammers strong enough to shatter iron, hurling burning pitch that can sear flesh, and brawling two-fisted with slabs of stone. To win their freedom, Grayback must use his knowledge of the mines to defeat superior forces as well as rediscovering long lost powers from Druidesses.

Battle Realms: Winter of the Wolf is the expansion pack for the real-time strategy computer game Battle Realms. Developed by Liquid Entertainment and Crave Entertainment, and published by Ubisoft, this expansion adds a number of new features to the original game.

The main feature that Winter of the Wolf brings to Battle Realms is an all-new campaign set during winter. The plot revolves around Kenji, a young man who must take up arms after his village was destroyed by beasts from beyond their realm. This story takes players through a journey which involves building an army and exploring mysterious lands while overcoming powerful foes in order to reclaim what was lost long ago. Along with this brand new story mode, players will also get access to two additional clans - Serpent Clan and Lotus Clan - each bringing unique units and abilities into battle with them.
