Omega Quintet is an innovative hybrid game that combines elements of both the idol simulation and Japanese role-playing genres. Developed exclusively for the PlayStation 4, Omega Quintet puts players in control of Takuto, a manager tasked with leading a group of five powerful Verse Maidens as they fight off an evil force known as the Beep to save their world.

The core gameplay revolves around managing the Verse Maidens' careers and helping them increase their popularity by engaging in activities such as singing and dancing. In addition to this, Takuto must also engage in battle against the Beeps using special weapons called Harmonics which can be customized with various upgrades earned from successful performances or bought from merchants. As he battles through different stages and completes his objectives, Takuto will gain experience points which allow him to level up his characters and unlock new abilities for them to use during combat.
