Batman: Vengeance is a 2001 video game that was released on all major platforms of the sixth generation of console games. It was developed and published by Ubisoft in conjunction with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Comics. It is based on the television series The New Batman Adventures (the successor to Batman: The Animated Series).

The player controls Batman, as he solves puzzles, fights enemies, and uses gadgets to progress through the game’s levels. Throughout the game, players will explore various locations from within Gotham City such as Arkham Asylum and Wayne Manor. In addition to controlling Batman directly, other characters can be controlled at times including Robin and Batgirl for puzzle solving or combat purposes. As well as utilizing traditional melee combat techniques, there are several weapons available for use when fighting villains; these include batarangs that can stun opponents temporarily or even disarm them if used correctly.
