Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls is a pre-sequel to the mystery adventure game Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair. The game takes place after the events of Hope's Peak Academy and centers around two heroines, Komaru Naegi and Toko Fukawa, as they try to escape from Towa City which has been taken over by an anarchistic society filled with despair. Players must help them survive while also trying to figure out what exactly happened in order for them to escape their situation.
