In the video game A Rose in the Twilight, a young girl wakes up in a castle that is devoid of color and time. She finds out she has been cursed with thorns on her back, and meets a giant who has been sleeping there for an unknown amount of time. The two work together to escape from the castle and try to unravel its mysterious history as well as find out why they have both been cursed with thorns. Together they must figure out how to break free from their prison so they can finally be free from this dark curse.
