Etrian Odyssey II: Heroes of Lagaard is a role-playing game set in the Grand Duchy of High Lagaard. The Duke is said to be descended from those who live in a castle in the sky, and it's up to players to retrieve the Grail of Kings from this mythical place for fame and fortune. Players will build their own party of adventurers with 12 different classes, customising everything from name and sex to combat formation, skills and spells. This sequel features an all-new story with improved mapping capabilities, Force Skills, over 100 side-quests plus innovative mapmaking tools on the touch screen which allow you to chart your progress through dungeons as you explore them.

Etrian Odyssey, also known as Sekaiju no Meikyuu in Japan, is an exploration game where players create their own team of adventurers to explore a mysterious labyrinth. The game begins with the discovery of a crack in a vast forest at Etria's edge, leading downward like a gaping maw. Players must use the Nintendo DS touch screen outside of combat to create their own dungeon maps while fighting fierce battles within the maze. The 3D graphics and world-class soundtrack adds excitement and danger to this perilous journey through the labyrinth.
