Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity allows players to explore Hyrule 100 years before the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild game. Through dramatic cutscenes, players can learn more about Zelda, the four Champions, and King of Hyrule as they struggle to save their kingdom from impending calamity. In order to do so, they must battle hordes of formidable foes like Bokoblins and Lynels while utilizing playable heroes such as Link and Zelda's distinct abilities. This is the only way for players to experience firsthand what happened in Hyrule during this time period.
