Diablo is an action-adventure game set in the dark, gothic fantasy world of Khandaras. An unknown force of evil has brought chaos and terror to the land, plunging it into civil war. Players take on the role of a brave warrior, cunning rogue or mysterious sorcerer and travel to Tristram - a town inhabited by only a handful of survivors - in search for answers. The town is built over ruins of an ancient monastery which holds secrets from its forgotten past. As players venture deeper into the labyrinths beneath they'll uncover weapons, armor and magical treasures as well as develop their character's skills and abilities.
