Devil May Cry 4 is a fast-paced action game set in the underworld, where a new protagonist named Nero encounters Dante, a hero who appears to be slaughtering countless people. Long ago, the Dark Knight Sparda rose up against an evil emperor and saved humanity. In present day Fortuna, an Order of the Sword worships Sparda and seeks to rid the world of demons.
