Samurai Warriors 4 is a video game focused on the Warring States era in Japan. The primary mode, Story Mode, is separated into two parts: regional stories and the story of unification. Regional stories focus on the officers of various regions around the land such as Kyūshū and Shikoku while the story of unification details events up to the end of this period. By way of contrast to previous games in this series, each battle and its surrounding tale are portrayed by faction, allowing for characters' relationships to be explored in more depth than ever before. Players will experience first-hand their convictions, intertwined ambitions and motivations that each character bears throughout this thrilling game.
