Assassin's Creed Rogue is set in 18th century North America, during the chaos and violence of the French and Indian War. The game follows Shay Patrick Cormac, a courageous member of the Brotherhood of Assassins who embarks on a dark transformation after his mission goes wrong. His former brothers attempt to kill him for this betrayal, causing Shay to become an Assassin hunter with one goal: to wipe out all those who turned against him and gain notoriety as the most feared hunter in history.
