In Thief: Deadly Shadows, players take on the role of Garrett, a master thief who steals from the wealthy and gives to himself. A prophecy of an impending Dark Age has forced Garrett out of his self-imposed seclusion in order to prevent it from occurring. Along the way he has stirred up an ancient hidden evil that threatens to destroy the City unless he can stop it. With no allies by his side, Garrett must do whatever is necessary to protect the City from destruction.
