Jordan Mechner, the creator of Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, has returned to game development with a downloadable remake of his classic Apple II action hit Karateka from 1984. The new version features the same story and gameplay as the original but with improved graphics and sound effects. Players take on the role of a heroic ninja warrior who must fight his way through an army of enemies in order to save a beautiful princess from her evil captor. Along their journey, players will face off against challenging bosses and make use of special moves like high jumps and flying kicks in order to defeat their foes.
