Disgaea: Hour of Darkness is a video game set in the Netherworld, an evil realm far beneath where mortals tread. Two years after the death of King Krichevskoy, his son Laharl awakens from a long sleep unaware of his father's passing and finds that scheming demons are vying for control over the Netherworld. With help from Etna and her minions, Laharl must fight to regain his birthright and claim the throne. Players will join him as he battles through challenging levels full of monsters and traps in order to restore peace to the land.
