God Eater 2: Rage Burst is an action role-playing video game set three years after the events of its predecessor, GOD EATER: Resurrection. In this new installment, a mysterious red rain sparks a fatal pandemic called the Black Plague with no known cure. To investigate and assist in this crisis, members of the Special Unit Blood are dispatched from Fenrir Organization. Players take control of their newest recruit as they battle enormous monsters using powerful weaponry and team up with iconic characters to save humanity.
