Yu-Gi-Oh! Capsule Monster Coliseum is a 3D board game based on the popular Yu-Gi-Oh! card game. The game consists of a series of duels between two players, which are played with cards. Players can choose from multiple modes in order to play the game: Campaign Mode, Free Battle Mode and Versus Mode.
In Campaign Mode, you take on all levels of the Monster Coliseum solo and acquire new monsters by winning each round. Before starting your battle, you must choose an appropriate symbol and assign parameters to it such as monster points, action points and power points. Then you have to buy a starter kit card deck before entering into the entrance hall where you manage your cards and monsters for upcoming duels. Once ready, pick any one out of four areas with five levels each and start defeating opponents using a turn-based strategy as per rules applicable in regular card games i.e., both characters start with their own decks of cards & health points; when health status reaches zero then match will be over; attack opponent's monsters by summoning them & assigning abilities etc.. Trick cards can also be used to gain offensive & defensive advantage during battles but remember that before each duel player has to pick an ante monster too otherwise he/she may lose his/her chance against enemy team member who is much stronger than him/herself due to different land forms or other relevant parameters influencing overall gameplay like HPs (Health Points), APs (Action Points) etc..
