Yoshi's Story is an adventure platformer game released by Nintendo in 1998. The game focuses on the Yoshi clan, a group of small dinosaur creatures, as they try to restore happiness to their world after it has been taken over by Baby Bowser.

In the game, Baby Bowser has stolen the magical Super Happy Tree and cast a spell on Yoshi's world which turns it into pages from a picture book. To combat this evil scheme, six baby Yoshis are chosen to save the day and reclaim the Super Happy Tree—the only thing that can break Baby Bowser’s Spell.

The player takes control of one of these tiny Yoshis and must complete various levels filled with puzzles and obstacles while also collecting fruit along the way. Alongside these main objectives there are also mini-games available throughout each level for players to take part in if they so choose. Each level is unique in its own way and requires different strategies depending on what type of challenge you want to face or what type of reward you desire at its end.
