Yakuza: Dead Souls is an action-adventure video game set in the crime-ridden streets of Kamurocho. The story begins as usual until a zombie outbreak turns it into a quarantine zone, walled off by the Japanese Self Defense Force and gradually expanding as the story progresses. Players can recruit locals to fight alongside them thanks to the new "Buddy" system, while corporate tie-ins including stores from RYU-GA-GOTOKU series contribute to a more realistic experience. There are two versions of Kamurocho available for exploration - one with its red light district and neon lights, and another depicting desperate squalor within the quarantine zone.

Yakuza: Dead Souls is the sixth installment in Sega's popular series of action-adventure/survival horror video games. The game is exclusive to the PlayStation 3 and promises an intense, thrilling experience set during a zombie outbreak in Kamurocho, the series' main locale. Leaked scans from Famitsu issue released on September 16th revealed that Yakuza: Dead Souls would be set after the events of Yakuza 4 and have destruction as its concept and keyword.

Players take control of four characters from previous installments; Kazuma Kiryu, Shun Akiyama, Ryuji Goda and Goro Majima who must fight their way through hordes of zombies while engaging with new characters and old friends alike to survive this disaster. Players will have access to a variety of weapons including firearms such as handguns, shotguns and rifles as well as melee weapons like batons or swords used for close quarters combat against enemies both living and undead. There are also special abilities such as Heat Action moves that can be used for powerful effects. Additionally vehicles can now be driven by players in order to traverse larger areas faster or use them offensively against enemies

The latest installment offers several improvements over earlier entries into the franchise where player progression has been made simpler yet more rewarding than before allowing gamers to customize their character build according to their playstyle preference. More challenging bosses await those brave enough venture forth into Kamurocho’s post-apocalyptic landscape filled with amazing graphics presented at 1080p resolution along with stunning lighting effects adding depth detail rarely seen on console gaming systems today making it one action packed adventure you won't want miss out on!
