Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is a classic open world action-adventure game set in the fictional city of Vice City, inspired by Miami in the 1980s. Players take on the role of Tommy Vercetti, who has just been released from prison and sent to this new town by his old boss Sonny Forelli. It's up to him then to fight back and take control of Vice City himself. Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, released in 2002 for the PlayStation 2 console and later ported to other platforms, is one of the most popular video games ever made. Set in 1986 and based on Miami, Vice City tells the story of Tommy Vercetti who is heavily indebted to his mafia superiors after a drug deal gone wrong but has dreams of taking over Vice City.

Players take control of Vercetti as he navigates an expansive open-world cityscape with plenty of activities to explore. Players can drive cars, motorcycles or boats while shooting up rival gangs with a wide range of weapons like handguns, shotguns and rocket launchers. Along with this immersive action experience comes an atmosphere that perfectly captures 1980s Miami complete with radio stations playing hit songs from the era as well as fun side missions such as taxi driving or street racing.
