Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is a classic open world action-adventure game set in the fictional city of Vice City, inspired by Miami in the 1980s. Players take on the role of Tommy Vercetti, who has just been released from prison and sent to this new town by his old boss Sonny Forelli. Unfortunately for Tommy he arrives to find himself without any money or merchandise and with everyone from biker gangs to corrupt politicians wanting him dead. It's up to him then to fight back and take control of Vice City himself. The game offers plenty of vehicular options such as high performance cars, motorbikes, powerboats and golf buggies - plus helicopter trips so you can enjoy the sights from above! With its great story line and intense action sequences, it comes as no surprise that Grand Theft Auto: Vice City was named Metacritic's 2002 PS2 Game of the Year.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, released in 2002 for the PlayStation 2 console and later ported to other platforms, is one of the most popular video games ever made. Set in 1986 and based on Miami, Vice City tells the story of Tommy Vercetti who is heavily indebted to his mafia superiors after a drug deal gone wrong but has dreams of taking over Vice City.

Players take control of Vercetti as he navigates an expansive open-world cityscape with plenty of activities to explore. Players can drive cars, motorcycles or boats while shooting up rival gangs with a wide range of weapons like handguns, shotguns and rocket launchers. Along with this immersive action experience comes an atmosphere that perfectly captures 1980s Miami complete with radio stations playing hit songs from the era as well as fun side missions such as taxi driving or street racing.

Vice City also features some iconic characters including gangsters like Lance Vance and Ken Rosenberg as well as corrupt police officers Victor Vance and Lieutenant Diaz who are all played by professional actors providing additional depth to the game’s narrative.
