Downloadable content is available upon release and players can listen to the soundtrack featuring Stanton Warriors, Loco Dice and Mason or play their own MP3 files from a memory stick.

Wipeout Pulse is a futuristic racing game set in 2207, ten years after the events of Wipeout Pure. It is developed by Sony Computer Entertainment and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation Portable (PSP). The game features 8 teams with one ship available each. Players are able to customize their ships with various parts and skins, allowing them to personalize their experience.

Players can choose from eight different teams including AG Systems, Auricom, FEISAR, Goteki 45, Harimau, Icaras Assegai, Qirex and Tigron. Each team has its own unique ship which vary in terms of handling style speed acceleration and shield strength. Players have access to weapons such as mines turbo boosts rockets shields etc., which allow them to gain an advantage over other racers or protect themselves from attacks. Additionally there are also zone mode tracks where players must reach certain speeds in order for their craft to activate special abilities such as boosting or slowing down time itself!

In addition to single-player races there's also split-screen multiplayer support for up to 4 people on PSPs with Wi-Fi capabilities plus online play available through Ad Hoc Party so you can race against your friends wherever they may be around the world! There are plenty of unlockables too ranging from additional ships pilots skins circuits music soundtracks bonus challenges etc., making sure that even after completing all the missions in story mode you'll still have something new waiting for you everytime you pop it into your console!
