In Wasteland 3, the player takes command of a squad of Desert Rangers in a post-nuclear world trying to rebuild society. The game features tactical turn-based combat as well as an ethical decision system that will determine your reputation in Colorado. You can create up to six customisable rangers with perks and abilities suited for your playstyle, while also upgrading your battle truck into an armed war machine. Wasteland 3 is an upcoming role-playing video game set in a post-apocalyptic world. Players take on the role of the sole survivor of Team November, a Ranger squad dispatched to Colorado's cold and harsh environment. As they explore this new land, players will uncover secrets from its past as well as come across dangerous lunatics and powerful factions vying for control over it.

Players will have complete freedom to shape their own story by making choices that can drastically affect the state of Wasteland 3’s world. Making decisions such as picking sides between warring factions or deciding whether locations should be destroyed or saved all contribute towards creating an environment completely unique to each playthrough. The developers at InXile Entertainment are also introducing “macro-reactivity” into Wasteland 3, meaning even small decisions made early on in the game could result in huge consequences later down the line.

Additionally, players will be able to customize their characters with various skillsets and abilities while equipping them with weapons looted from enemies or crafted using special recipes found throughout Wasteland 3’s vast wasteland environments. Similarly, vehicles can be upgraded and customized allowing for more efficient travel around its desolate landscapes while providing protection against hostile forces encountered along your journey.
