Torrente is a former cop who was dismissed from the force for his questionable involvement in a case, and now makes a living as a private detective. He soon finds himself in the middle of a conflict between drug cartels and the Mafia, fighting street thugs and hit men to gain control over Madrid's criminal underworld. Throughout this action-packed game, Torrente must complete various missions ranging from escorting clients to deactivating bombs while using his chaotic but effective methods. His ultimate goal is to one day be reinstated into the police force he believes he was wrongfully removed from.

Torrente: El Brazo Tonto de la Ley (Torrente: The Dumb Arm of the Law) is a Spanish feature film that has been adapted into an entertaining video game. In this game, players take on the role of Officer Torrente, a fascist, sexist, racist, dishonest individual who navigates through drug cartels and all sorts of homicidal maniacs.

The game follows the plot of the movie and includes many familiar characters from it as well. Players can explore various locations in Madrid like Malasaña or La Latina while completing missions to progress through the story. As they move along in their adventure they will come across a diverse cast of enemies ranging from corrupt police officers to street gangs and more! Along with combat sequences which involve shooting enemies using different weapons like handguns or shotguns there are also interactive puzzles for players to solve in order to advance further in their quest.

In addition to its exciting gameplay features, Torrente features some interesting visuals with detailed environments that bring alive the atmosphere of Madrid and its inhabitants.
