In This War of Mine, players are tasked with controlling a group of civilians and helping them survive in a city under siege. During the day they must remain inside their refuge and use that time to craft items, trade resources, upgrade their shelter and feed/cure the people. At night they must scavenge nearby areas for food, medicine, weapons or other useful items needed to stay alive and protect themselves from enemies outside. Unlike most video games which focus on military operations, this game encourages players to think about how real-life civilians cope during times of war.

All about game This War of Mine

This War of Mine is an innovative take on the classic war game experience. Instead of playing as a soldier, you are put in control of a group of civilians struggling to survive in a besieged city. The game brings forth the hardships and struggles that come with living in such conditions: lack of food, medicine and constant danger from snipers and hostile scavengers. This War of Mine provides players with an entirely new perspective on war - one where no good or bad decisions exist; only survival.

The pace of the game is set by its day-and-night cycle - during daylight hours, snipers outside prevent your escape from refuge so you must focus on maintaining your hideout: crafting, trading and taking care for survivors within it. At night however, you can send one civilian out to scavenge for items that will help keep everyone alive longer - but beware! Not all locations will yield the same results. You must be careful when making life-or-death decisions driven by your own conscience as there are no right or wrong answers here - only what guarantees survival at any given moment in time.

This War Of Mine offers an experience like no other video game before it; providing players with an emotionally charged narrative that truly immerses them into this harsh world they’re trying to navigate through – forcing them to make difficult choices along their journey towards lasting peace and safety
